Fantastic quality wrapped in a perfect period radio

This is the second radio of this type that I have purchased from Colin. (The first went when I sold my last car). This one was bought for my latest acquisition - a 1947 Jaguar my IV and as such it is exactly the right radio.

The restoration quality is outstanding - faultless - and yet the (unseen) modern technicals inside bring the radio bang up to modern standards. Particularly impressive is how the modern functions are all integrated into the original buttons so that nothing appears different to what it would have looked like in 1947. 

I chose all the extras - why not? If you are spending this much on a brilliantly restored period radio then you might as well future proof it totally. Very happy with this purchase as well as the personal service from Colin who kept me advised on restoration and build progress together with photos. Highly appreciated.

I contacted Colin about how i could upgrade my 1975/76 Blaupunkt Frankfurt Stereo ASU so i could stream music from my phone and still keep the car looking original . He advised me what i needed and the dongle came the next day and works fantastically and is quick and easy to install and use .

Motorola 114

Agenta refurbished the Motorola radio from my 1968 classic car and added a Bluetooth facility to it along with microphone and electric aerial connection. The result is that I can now stream music through the radio and take and receive calls hands free, but the radio looks exactly the same and still functions as a MW/LW unit. They could have converted it to FM as well but as I can stream FM through it via my phone I did not require that.

A very professional job, done quickly, and Colin could not have been more friendly or helpful. Would highly recommend.

1953 Becker Monaco Restoration & Upgrade

Hi Colin, Very special thanks for the amazing job on my Becker Monaco.

You carried out similar work on my Telefunken Autosuper D2 a couple of years ago, and it has been well worth the expense to bring it up to date and looking and sounding fantastic. Gone is the mono low wattage and power hungry unit from the original radio and now it is thoroughly up to date without losing any originality. The 67 year old wiring is gone and is now fully protected, which gives great peace of mind in a restored vehicle.

The icing on the cake was winning the Best of Show at 'Wheels day 2019' and I was asked does the radio work? ... l left it on after several comments and I have since upgraded speakers as per your advice.

This Becker Monaco is another truly awesome job from your workshop again Colin. Stay safe and have a great new year

AstonMartin DB6 console project

When I first contacted Agenta Audio I had an old Motorola 727 radio, a relatively modern negative earth aerial and a console without a front/rear speaker fade, grill or toggle switch. I had very specific ideas on how I wanted it to operate in my positive earth Aston Martin DB6, i.e. as per original specification. 

Colin from Agenta patiently confirmed all my requirements and then set to work building up the console, radio and electric aerial into a complete system that I easily connected back into the car. This was because it arrived fully labelled and with idiot proof instructions. Even then I managed to find one problem with fitting, it which he patiently talked me through. 

I won’t be considering anyone else when I come to fit a radio in one of my other classics.
