This combined Bluetooth and USB (BTU) upgrade can be installed in any valve or transistor classic car radio. Choose this option for working radios that you want to upgrade with the additional functionality of Bluetooth with full hands free telephony, wireless audio streaming and voice control and USB device charging and audio playback from USB flash drives.
This upgrade is suitable for both valve and transistor radios. The upgrade involves the installation of an Aurora BTU-2.6 adaptor which gives the original radio bluetooth functionality as well as the ability to to charge phones, tablets and portable computers as well as playing music files stored on a flash drive.
The resulting radio looks and operates exactly like it always did, but now has Bluetooth and USB functionality. This upgrade is fully reversible and, if required, the radio can be returned to its original condition.
Please note: The radio should be working before the BTU upgrade can be installed as the upgrade operates through the original electronics. Pricing is for the supply and installation of the Aurora BTU-2.6 converter module only and does NOT cover any repair work on the radio. If you have a radio that currently does not work, it will need to be repaired and/or serviced before fitting the AUX Input converter. Please get in touch if this applies to your radio.
